The Coppermines and Lakes Cottages have over seventy properties available accommodating from 2 to 30 guests so no matter how big a venue you need for your special occasion we are sure we have properties suited to your needs.

The Coppermines Cottages at Coniston provide a great venue for a wedding reception with space to accommodate a marquee seating 120 and accommodation for up to 30 guests with other accommodation nearby in Coniston Village

The Coppermines Mountain Cottages sleep 2 - 30 ..... Click for more details

Four Cottages, recently refurbished with en-suite facilities, each self contained, which are able to be interconnected together in various combinations, are in the Old Sawmill shown to the right, and sleep 2 - 26 people.

Another cottage,( No 4 Coppermines Cottages), sleeps 4 and is about 500 yards further down the valley.

Our Victorian Sawmill is restored and converted into four cottages which, with the ingenious use of extra internal passageways and doors downstairs, can be easily combined together for parties & celebrations and accommodation for families or groups.

The Coppermines Cottages are also very popular for midweek business meetings, which are very popular in this unique location.
A marquee can be erected next to the cottages for wedding receptions.

The Bridge Cottages Coniston Village sleep 2 - 21…. Click for more details

These historic whitewashed stone cottages are in the heart of the village and are some of the oldest buildings dating back over 300 years, being the original village post office, a butchers and latterly a well known eating house.
They have private parking and a small garden, with a further private waterside garden with tables, chairs and barbecue by The Church Beck with extensive views over the village and the surrounding fells.
They can be ingeniously combined together for groups of 5-21 in 8 bedrooms, ideal for celebrating special occasions and only a short walk from all amenities

Four Victorian stone built mid-terraced properties, with a delightful cottage garden, built 100 years ago by the owners grandparents with much recent refurbishment, and period features.
Situated in the quieter upper part of the village, under mature trees, the cottages are at the start of the footpaths to the fells. They have extensive mountain views to the rear, whilst at the front you can enjoy the re-landscaped garden garden from the shelter of the open Victorian verandah which links 3 of the cottages, plus an interconnecting internal door between Number Two & Number Three

Where Coniston Water meanders gently into the River Crake, here nestles the ancient Water Yeat Farm. This group of cottages was mostly built over 300 years ago, and has been sympathetically refurbished, retaining many original features, exposed beams & log fires. They are near the famous Allan Tarn depicted by childrens Author Arthur Ransome as Octopus Lagoon in the Swallows & Amazons books.
The cottages share about an acre of wooded & walled garden with views across the valley to lake & fells.

Quality cottages of much character set on a traditional Lakeland hill farm overlooking the beautiful Woodland Valley, which is one of the few remailing undiscovered treasures of the area.
Although the farm is 4 miles from the nearest shops, the farmer is also the local butcher. Meat can be ordered and delivered daily to your cottage.
The famous 16th Century Blacksmith's Arms is just 2 miles away over the hill, serving excellent food and drink. Attractively set around an original farm yard, 300 years ago, the farm also had a water powered corn mill fed by the 'Hole Beck' which still burbles past.

Situated in Coniston Village, Cherry Tree Cottage is a very spacious village cottage, originally built about 40 years ago, substantially refurbished and substantially extended recently.
The cottage has a lovely garden with excellent mountain views, especially from the conservatory, and gas cental heating.

It is a short walk from the start of the footpaths to the fells and about 10 minutes walk to the lake.
All the village shops & pubs are just a short level walk away.

A very spacious larger cottage, with all the accommodation on the ground floor, just totally and very extensively refurbished to a high four star standard.

Set on the edge of the village, it has a lovely garden with views over the fields to the lake.

An extended Seventeenth Century stone creamwashed cottage, perched high above the Coniston valley in a beautiful enclosed wooded garden and grounds, with several summerhouses, streams, terraces and quiet places to sit, reflect and enjoy the view.
Situated high above all of Coniston village, Fairsnape Cottage offers unrivalled views from most windows, and particularly from the spacious paved terrace with extends through french doors from the dining kitchen.
The cottage, which is traditionally decorated with much antique furniture, was sympathetically refurbished about three years ago, has log fires, exposed beams, many original features and gas central heating. Nearby, around 4 minutes walk away, are the village pubs, shops and restaurant
