This 300 year old traditional Cumbrian- cottage / farm house retains a charming atmosphere with many original features including beamed ceilings and pine doors. The cottage is mainly detached and stands within a small group of properties on a quiet country lane.
From all the rooms in the cottage and from the garden there are lovely views across fields to hills and woodland beyond.
The cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard with a modern kitchen, high quality family bathroom and very well furnished throughout.
It is few minutes walk to the small Cumbrian village of Lowick and Spark Bridge with two local country pubs; The Farmers Arms ~ 10 mins walk, a traditional 14th Century coaching inn and the popular Royal Oak~ 20 mins walk, both of which serve excellent food using local Cumbrian produce.
