This traditional Lakeland farm house retains many original features including beamed ceilings and pine doors. The cottage stands within a small group of period properties on a quiet country lane on the edge of Coniston Village.

From most of the rooms in the cottage and from the garden there are lovely views across fields to Coniston Water and the hills and woodland beyond.

The cottage is few minutes walk to the village of Coniston with local country pubs, shops and local amenities.

Downstairs

Kitchen/dining room with large dining table, gas 'aga' and entrance from garden. A newly fitted contemporary kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and electric cooker with four ring hob, grill and oven.

Utility room with a fridge/freezer and washing machine.

Sitting room - well furnished with traditional stone fire place with log burning stove, beamed ceiling, oak panelling, colour TV and window seat with views to Coniston Water. From the sitting room a door leads to the garden.

A winding staircase leads upstairs to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1. A spacious double bedroom with lake views and an ensuite bathroom with basin, bidet, bath (with electric shower over) and WC.
Bedroom 2. With two single beds and views to field and woodland.
Bedroom 3. With double bed and lake views,

Bathroom with bath (with electric shower over)and WC.

Outside

Garden furniture, outside BBQ nearby - very suitable for al fresco dinning with the panoramic lake view as a backdrop.

Store suitable for storing bikes.


Large graveled terraced areas to the front with beautiful lake views, garden furniture and chiminea

Secluded cottage garden to side with garden furniture.

Access is available to the adjacent grazing field making a nice extra place for children to play.(subject to livestock!)

Parking for three cars - access is by a steep narrow lane.

A public footpath starts a short distance away for a pleasant walk across the fields to Coniston Water.
