Each cottage now has gas fired central heating and all the bath/shower rooms have been refurbished in the last few years, with several more added.

Situated in the upper part of the village, under mature trees near to the Sun Hotel, the cottages are at the start of the footpaths to the fells.

They have mountain views to the rear, whilst at the front you can enjoy the garden from the shelter of the open Victorian verandah which links the cottages, plus an interconnecting internal door between Nos 2 & 3.

This larger property has been completely refurbished and carefully re-designed with many of the traditional features of the area.
It is the largest of the four cottages at Dixon Ground and shares the Victorian veranda.
The cottage is very comfortable & finished to a FOUR STAR LEVEL.
