Situated amidst the mature wooded landscape of Stott Park, Beech Tree Cottage is one of four cottages in the converted stables of Stott Park Mansion. The cottage offers guests a peaceful woodland setting and benefits from direct private access to Lake Windermere.

In addition, there is shared use of a peaceful and picturesque lakeside picnic area, and the adjoining woodlands - visited by a variety of wild animals including red squirrel & deer.

Fishing, climbing, pony trekking & many other outdoor pursuits are available within easy motoring distance - so there is no excuse not to take advantage of this opportunity to really get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The cottage is also a stone's throw away from attractions such as The Lakes Aquarium, Haverthwaite Railway and Lakeland Motor Museum, perfect for families and friends looking to explore the Lakes area.

Ground floor

Spacious entrance hallway, with ample room to store boots, bags and wet weather gear. From the hallway all rooms can be accessed, the bright sitting/dining room overlooks the entrance to the grounds and along with its comfortable seating benefits from TV, DVD Player & feature bay window.

The kitchen area is also linked to the sitting room, making social cooking a reality. The kitchen comes equipped with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher & fridge with a small ice box.

Back to the hallway both bedrooms can be accessed.

Bedroom 2 - twin full size bunk beds (for 4 people).

Newly refurbished (November 2019) house bathroom with bath and shower over & WC, there's also a separate WC (also refurbished).

Finally there is also a utility room with storage, perfect for tidying away any excess baggage.

The property enjoys use of the extensive private grounds with trees, shrubs perfect for picnics and lazy days by the lake.

The lake itself is less than a 5 minute walk away through Black Hole Wood which is a delightful natural habitat covering about 20 acres.
