The Coppermines Lakes Cottages welcome all filming and photography requests and can offer film makers and photographers a wealth of locations within the Coppermines Valley and Coniston area.

The Coppermines Mountain Cottages and land surrounding are listed as an historic monument and as such provides a magnificent backdrop amongst crags, streams, mountain vistas and the historic mine workings. The perfect setting for outdoor, adventure, wedding & historic shoots. The Lake District is currently in the process of bidding for UNESCO World Heritage Status further adding to the appeal of the local area.

The Coppermines Mountain Cottages are situated in the heart of the Coppermines Valley, set amongst bubbling becks, waterfalls and rugged crags, the valley unfolds before your eyes. Look left and you will be graced with the rolling Yewdale crags and to the right, The Old Man of Coniston rising over 2000ft into the Lakeland skyline.

The Coppermine Lakes Cottages portfolio of 80+ properties are situated across Coniston and the surrounding Lakeland valleys, offering a range of locations and backdrops from idyllic country farm houses to grand lakeside retreats.
