A wedding marquee or tipi at The Coppermines has a fantastic atmosphere and is a wonderful place to celebrate, dine and dance the night away.

There is a large level area lying alongside the cottages which can accommodate various sizes of marquee or tipi can be accessed directly from our reception rooms.

We personally recommend marquee providers Evans Marquees of Lancaster and tipi providers Fjell Tipis of Keswick as exclusive providers due to their reliability and expert knowledge on the site.

The largest marquee that can be sited can seat around 250 people for a wedding breakfast and host up to 300 people ‘buffet style’ for an evening reception. We advise that all events at The Coppermines held in marquees/tipis should have a separate, smaller catering section included, giving your chosen outside catering company a designated workspace away from the main buildings/wedding party.
