Coppermines Mountain Cottages Webcam, Coppermines Valley

This is the view from the top of our heritage waterwheel next to our Mountain Cottages in Coppermines Valley, Lake District.

The view is facing southeast down the valley, towards Coniston Village and Coniston Water.

The Coppermines Mountain Cottages were restored and converted from the historic coppermines mining buildings over 40 years ago, with the waterwheel added in 2021.

Coppermines Valley boasts some incredible hiking routes, including Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam. It’s part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, is included in The Schedule of Ancient Monuments and is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
