NEW! EV CHARGER FITTED JULY 2022

Once a Methodist Chapel, built in 1859 by Cornish miners, Chapel Bank House is now a cottage with a difference, benefiting from 21st century comforts in a historical building with many original features.

The house is laid out over three floors and is upside down in layout with its living areas located on the top floor (trust us the views are worth the climb).

Chapel Bank House is a well-appointed property with quality furnishings and appliances. The cottage is a great base for active families and groups, or just for relaxation, perfectly located for access to the fells, with local village amenities and pubs all a short walk away, and perfect to come home to after a satisfying day out!

"Your comfort and well-being are our priority from the luxurious wool duvets with 100% cotton covers to the leather recliner sofas. Our aim is that you have a holiday with everything that you need for energetic pursuits or relaxation and refreshment." - Chapel Bank Owners.

What can we say.... We have stayed in this property on several occasions and fall in love with this property after each stay. Perfect views, great family space and we have already made countless fond memories of family holidays at this property. The views are amazing, the kitchen is fantastic, the living space is so comfortable and the property is just so unique it makes the stay more enjoyable. Off road parking in the garage takes away all the hassle of parking and if you have mud magnets, like kids and dogs, this house is perfectly set up with a large garage & wash facilities to wash off the Lakeland mud. Local walks, mountain views, warm cosy pubs and the welcoming local community make this an area and a place we will visit until years to come. Many thanks for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful property.

Thank you for a very pleasant, socially distanced stay. It was a great relief to come back to the Lake District and get amongst the mountains and lakes after so long in lockdown.

This has been a great week and made special by being able to spend Christmas with all the family in such an amazing location. We found the Chapel very comfortable and spacious and in an ideal location. Our dog absolutely loved being 5 minutes from the water and we loved being five minutes from a huge choice of pubs, walks and the church. Thank you and we hope to return again.
