A small conservatory acts as the cottage's entrance and this is perfect for leaving your outdoor gear. From the hall, left leads into the sitting room, with its comfy sofas, wooden floors and real fire. Light and unfussy, this is a great room to relax in, after a full day on the fells or out sightseeing. There's a TV, radio,& CD player available here.
Adjacent to the sitting room is the dining area for six and a modern, well-appointed kitchen with double electric oven & hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher.
There are three bedrooms, the master bedroom has French doors leading out to an attractive and enclosed lawned garden, complete with garden furniture. The perfect space for younger family members to stretch their legs or simply a space for adults to switch off. There's also a house bathroom and separate en suite W.C off bedroom 3.
Bedroom 1 - king size bed with French doors to the rear garden and luxury en suite bathroom with underfloor heating, bath and separate shower.
Bedroom 2 - double bed.
Bedroom 3 - twin single beds with en-suite WC & wash basin.
House bathroom with feature bath, shower over & WC.
Beyond the en suite bathroom is a useful utility room / laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside
To the rear of the cottage is an attractive & secluded enclosed garden complete with garden furniture & small charcoal barbecue.
For outdoor enthusiast there's access to the cottage garage, offering secure bike/canoe storage with water tap & hose.
To the front of the cottage is a small lawned garden surrounded by shrubs which opens out onto the driveway. Please note the front garden is not enclosed therefore we advise children and pets are supervised at all times here.
Travelling with a dog?
We can offer free use of a 1 acre field in Coniston village. Use by arrangement only. Please contact the office for availability.

Coniston is simply an excellent base for any Lake District holiday. The village is packed with friendly pubs, local shops and lively cafes and there is incredible walking straight from the village centre, including the iconic Coniston Old Man. The village enjoys ample access to Coniston Water lake shore, with Coniston Boating Centre offering paddle-boarding, kayaking, sailing and more. There are also plenty of opportunities for wild-swimming including the lake, beautiful mountain tarns and the picturesque Church Beck river with its stunning waterfalls and deep, crystal clear pools. For cyclists, there are spectacular off-road mountain biking trails including those at nearby Grizedale Forest, as well as some stunning road routes through some of the country's most beautiful scenery.
For those who enjoy a quieter pace, The Ruskin Museum, which depicts the fascinating history of the area including the famous water speed record attempt of Donald Campbell is a must visit. While on the eastern shores of the lake lies Brantwood, the Victorian home of John Ruskin, where visitors can explore the historic house and vibrant arts centre and enjoy some delicious food from The Terrace cafe with its breath-taking lake and mountain views.
The wider Lake District area is also very easily accessible from Coniston, with popular destinations such as Ambleside, Bowness and Windermere just a short drive away.
