Within its stone walls guests will find their every comfort has been carefully considered. With beautiful finishes and the most thoughtful of touches, this cosy cottage simply oozes charm throughout. The high quality interior will ensure that all guests will feel at home immediately at home from the moment they step inside.

Low Mill Cottage makes for the perfect setting for a holiday to the Lake District National Park. Conveniently placed for the number 1 visitor attraction in the Lake District; Windermere Lake Cruises, the cottage is also ideally situated to visit the Aquarium of the Lakes, The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Railway, Fell Foot Park and is within easy reach of Bowness, Windermere, Hawkshead, Coniston and the rest of the Lakes.

In short this characterful and charming abode makes a wonderful base for families, friends or couples wishing to explore everything this spectacular area has to offer.

Ground Floor
Stepping inside this welcoming cottage guests will find beautifully finished slate flooring throughout the ground floor. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating for 5 and is centred around an impressive log-burning stove. The room also benefits from double doors to the pretty patio area outside as well as having a Smart TV with complimentary Netflix. To the rear of the living room is the dining area with dining space for up to 6 guests. The dining area is lit by pretty twin windows and is the perfect place for enjoying your evening meal after a day's exploring.

The dining room leads to a central hallway. From the hallway a door leads to the newly-fitted kitchen. The quality here is apparent throughout with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and integrated fridge-freezer. The kitchen is finished with Emma Bridgewater kettle, toaster and crockery.

Back in the central hallway a handy bench makes the perfect place for taking off muddy boots while a door leads to a downstairs W.C. with sink.

The stairs to the first floor, secured with stair-gate, are also accessed from the hallway.

First Floor
The stairs lead to the first floor landing. From here guests can access with house bathroom, beautifully tiled with shower over bath, W.C. and sink.

Outside

We stayed here in August. It was lovely. A really well equipped kitchen and everything looked brand new. A delightful welcome basket too. Bedding and towels were immaculate and beds were very comfortable. We had a super stay.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful, quiet area. Excellent amenities throughout. 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 single) all perfectly decorated. Very comfy beds and pillows. The whole house is decorated perfectly and is spacious enough throughout. Nice front and rear courtyards that capture the sun.

Wonderful cottage. Stay was excellent. Beds and pillows very comfy. All amenities catered for. Peaceful location. It was even better than it looked on the website! Overall we would rate this cottage as excellent and will definitely return.
