We found the cottage in excellent condition, the furniture and everything was spot on. The cottage couldn't have been cleaner if it was brand new, well done to your cleaners, very impressed. Comfortable and everything we could have wished for. Didn't want to leave!

A lovely cottage in a great location. We travel extensively through the Lakes and this has to be one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in. Milk, bread and butter plus lots of other little treats provided. Will definitely be back.

The cottage was wonderful, it had great touches and the secret garden was much needed in the heat. Our first time with Coppermines after using most others but now will not use anyone else.

The cottage was lovely, very clean, comfortable and equipped to a very high standard. Could not have asked for more. Sets it apart from other cottages we have booked in Coniston. Our thanks and congratulations to the owners.

We stayed at 6 The Forge, a one bedroom, terraced cottage, where a small path at the rear leads to a small private wooded area. When we stayed we were blessed with lots of sunshine and took advantage of the areas lovely walks and steam gondola. The cottage itself is well equipped and we found a welcome pack, which included milk, bread, coffee, tea, biscuits, wine, dishwasher tablets, soap powder, white company toiletries. There was also a doggy basket too, blanket, bowl, treats. Great bedroom, with a large comfy bed, nice views out of the windows and a short stroll into town, but nicely tucked away, peaceful and quiet. There wasn't anything negative to say about the cottage or the area, loved our stay here. Great artisan bakery on the front street and we enjoyed a nice Indian takeaway from the local restaurant.
