The Coppermines Cottages are based mainly in and around Coniston, a beautiful Lake District Village which not only has a few of its own great pubs but is also in driving distance of some of the best pubs for food and drink in the whole of the South Lakes area.

Whatever season you visit the Lake District will give you a unique experience in the local Lake District pubs. In autumn and winter expect cosy rooms with roaring fires, hearty food, and a warm welcome, while in Spring and Summer the pubs open their doors and windows, and food is served in beer gardens with space inside to avoid April showers!
