An award-winning wedding venue in the heart of the Lake District our mountain venue can be exclusive use and is completely customisable to for the size and style of your wedding. The uniqueness of The Coppermines Wedding Venue does not stop with the location. This venue offers the opportunity to do you wedding, exactly the way you want it. The venue includes four interconnected mountain top cottages that can sleep up to 22 people (including four on site hot tubs!) and an onsite converted Copper Barn which can be used for the ceremony if required. Many couples choose to arrange their wedding paperwork before the big day so they can have an outdoor ceremony and truly appreciate the spectacular setting.

Affordable, Unique Mountain Wedding Venue

As an unlicenced venue you can bring your own drinks (we have an onsite chiller you can hire) making this venue unique in that you can bring your own caterer, and your own drinks to the venue – with no extra corkage fee! By adding a mountain top marquee or tipi you can invite up to 300 guests and there is parking available for around 50 vehicles.
