There are easy and hard mountain bike trails in the local forests such as Grizedale or for those who love the water the lakes are gorgeous for wild swimming.

For couples who want to relax then there are a host of lovely spas in which to book massages and facials, you can book time with a local yoga instructor or join a local forest bathing groups to connect with nature on a deeper level. There are bus tours where you can hop on to get the most beautiful sights and lake cruises in a variety of different boats on the various lakes.

Water activities are also a popular choice for couples in the Lake District, whether you want to gently paddleboard across Coniston Water or race each other in kayaks you can do it all in within a short distance from any of the Coppermines Cottages. Whatever you want to do as a couple you will be able to find the time and space to do it on a romantic break in the lakes.
