Happy Wednesday! Earlier on today (Wednesday 3rd May) Cumbria Tourism announced their finalists for the 2017 Cumbria Tourism Awards and we are proud to announce that we been shortlisted for not one but two award categories!

The awards which celebrate the vast diversity across the county’s tourism industry will take place on Wednesday 21st June – Fingers crossed we scoop a prize or two!

Independence, romance and nostalgia are all cores aspects of any wedding held at The Coppermines Mountain Cottages. From arrival the venue exclusively belongs to our guests and we give them the freedom to decide how they wish their celebrations to unfold. There are no restrictive packages nor are there any set timetables, all we ask is that our guests follow just a few simple ‘house rules’. In essence we wish for each wedding held with us to be as unique and as special as each of our happy couples.
