Tying The Knot

We are now licensed to hold weddings in our newly converted Copper Barn, situated just a few hundred feet from our mountain cottages. This spacious yet intimate barn can comfortably hold 110 guests seated and offers views out across to the Old Man of Coniston. Contact Registrar.

Nestled in the Coppermines Valley, the Copper Barn’s rustic beams and exposed stonework exude the charm and character synonymous with a rural Lake District wedding.

If you are looking for a traditional church wedding then there is the beautiful St Andrews Anglican Church in Coniston, along with a Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and Coniston Methodist Church.

Alternatively, should you have already completed the legal side of a civil ceremony then an alternative wedding blessing may take place. For couples looking to hold an outdoor blessing the immediate area around the venue offers a stunning backdrop.
