Forge Bridge Cottage is alongside 'Forge Bridge', a small, unassuming bridge over Church Beck. Tucked away just beyond Coniston Brewery and overlooking the nearby beck, Forge Bridge Cottage has recently undergone major refurbishments, and now benefits from a host of mod cons.

This beautiful stone and slate built cottage has an advantageous positioning, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfare, yet close enough to access all the amenities Coniston village has to offer. A cosy & romantic hideaway, the presence of quality is apparent throughout thanks to the owners, who have lavished much care and attention on its restoration.

A slate terraced patio and decked veranda runs alongside this charming cottage. A natural suntrap, it's the perfect haven for lazy days and summer evenings. Guests can sit and admire the dramatic backdrop of the surrounding fells, including Coniston Old Man, watch the sun set or simply soak up the mesmerising sound of the beck passing by as it makes its way down to the lake.

For those travelling in larger groups, or for 2 or more families wishing to stay close by to each other yet still enjoy their own space, Forge Bridge House next door accommodates an additional 4 guests across 2 bedrooms. Bringing the total capacity for the 2 cottages to 7 guests across 4 bedrooms.

and bright open plan living area with French doors leading out to the decked veranda (again benefitting from those fabulous mountain views). The room benefits from beamed ceiling, comfortable corner leather sofa, enormous Smart TV and a modern dining space for 3.

The stylish kitchen area benefits from NEFF oven & microwave, induction hob, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment.

Cottage totally exceeding expectations. We are familiar visitors to Coniston and are thrilled to find this peaceful cottage in a central location. Cottage is done to a very high specification and was just what we needed after long days out walking, the bath tub especially!
