Forge Bridge House stands proudly by 'Forge Bridge', a small, unassuming bridge over Church Beck. Tucked away just beyond Coniston Brewery and close to the delightful beck, Forge Bridge House has recently undergone major refurbishments, and now benefits from a host of mod cons and a superior finish.

This beautiful stone and slate built cottage has an advantageous positioning, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfare, yet close enough to access all the amenities Coniston village has to offer. A cosy & comfortable hideaway, the presence of quality is apparent throughout thanks to the owners, who have lavished much care and attention on its thoughtful restoration.

The traditional, Lakeland stone exterior and sleek, modern finishes and meticulous attention to detail within, ensure this charming cottage strikes the perfect balance. And, with two bedrooms and two beautifully equipped en suite bathrooms, this is the ideal setting for couples, families or friends to enjoy their escape to the Lakes.

For those travelling in larger groups, or for 2 or more families wishing to stay close by to each other yet still enjoy their own space, Forge Bridge Cottage next door accommodates an additional 3 guests across 2 bedrooms. Bringing the total capacity for the 2 cottages to 7 guests across 4 bedrooms.

A lovely property, in an excellent location. Very comfortable and absolutely spotless. The only reason we may not book again is because we like to try different places!

Forge Bridge House was very nice and ultra modern with a very high quality of fixtures and fittings. It is in a great central location with several good pubs and restaurants near by. We have booked with Coppermines cottages several times over the years and would not hesitate to do so again.

The booking and payment process was excellent. I've never booked with Coppermines before and have been very impressed with the ease of booking and also the correspondence sent on advance of our holiday. The property was spotlessly clean, well equipped and as described on the website. The location of the property is perfect and we loved the beck immediately outside. All in all we've had a lovely holiday at Forge Bridge House, a little gem hidden away but also close to everything. Clean, well maintained, light, bright and very comfortable. Would definitely book again. Thank you Coppermines for making the booking process simple, straightforward and again, we would definitely book via your company.
