Are you looking for a pet friendly cottage in the Lake District? We know it can be difficult to find a cottage that will take you and your pet or pets, so we have a great range of lake district holiday cottages that are pet friendly.

Pet Friendly Cottages Lake District

The Lake District is an amazing place to visit with your pet and having a dog with you for a day in the fells can be extremely fun and rewarding for both you and your four-legged friend!

Coppermines Loves Pets

We love pets and understand why you want to bring them with you on your holiday to the Lake District. Many of our cottages accept pets and we have a range of services and offers to help you make the most of your stay in the lakes with your beloved pets.

• Standardised Charges – All our cottages that accept pets charge the same fee; this makes it easy for you to book a pet friendly cottage with us and enables you to choose the right holiday cottage for you knowing the pet fee is the same for all. A simple £5.00 per pet, per night applies to all applicable cottages.
• Letting off Steam – If you have an active pet that loves to run or play, or you are training your pet and don’t want to stop while you are on holiday then we have an option for you. Coppermines guests are allowed access, free of charge, to our 1-acre enclosed field in Coniston Village, an easy and local place for you to go with your pet. Remember – you do need to arrange this with us in advance, if you want to use it just drop us an email!
• Dog Sitting – Although you love your dog and would not want to be without them on your holiday, you may want a day off without them or an evening out in a nice restaurant that does not allow dogs. Perhaps you are attending a wedding or visiting family and can’t take your pet with you, then we can arrange a dog sitter for you. These needs to be booked in advance with our supplier – talk to us about your requirements and we can help you out!
